The international exhibition WindEnergy Hamburg 2016 will be held in Hamburb on 27 – 30 September, 2016.
The WindEurope Summit 2016 (Summit of the European Wind Energy Association WindEurope) will be held within the framework of the exhibition. At the Summit there will be conferences with over 45 activities aimed at improving the understanding of global trends that shape the wind power sector in Europe and beyond.
The exhibition (on the grounds of the exhibition center Hamburg Messe) aspires to become the main event of the year in the wind power industry, at which a comprehensive review of the current state and prospectives of the sector will be presented. It is known that the WindEurope Summit 2016 will be held under the slogan “Making Transition Work”, which symbolizes the urgency of transition processes in the global energy policy for a sustainable carbon-free energy. On the opening day of the Summit, WindEurope (the European Wind Energy Association) will publish a report that will present the flagship of the transition process in Europe, and will reveal the important role of wind power in this process.
The Project Team of the international technical assistance project “Removing Barriers to Wind Power Development in Belarus” have scheduled to participate in various activities organized by companies within the framework of the exhibition, to hold workshops with the world leading manufacturers of wind turbines and a meeting with representatives of the international wind power companies.
