The video presentation of the Korean company C&C solution describes the process of blades delivery to a hard-to-reach wind farm construction site.
The company C&C has commissioned three trucks entrusted with the task of transporting blades for wind turbines to the top of Baoding Mountain in Yunnan Province (China). A single blade for a wind turbine has a length of 52.4 meters.
In addition to the extra load on the engine, occurring when lifting the load up the hill, the complexity arises also from the shape of the road. There are narrow sections, sharp turns and trees on the route. There are mountain villages with residential buildings on both sides of the streets.
The trucks use specialized hydraulic equipment capable of lifting blades in different positions.
